Am I the only Aussie enjoying this ? ? ?

:dunno: Hey guys, tell me I'm not the only Aussie enjoying the fruits, wealth of tech experience, tips, knowledge etc of this fantastic site.
Recently I read a good thread of a guy who drove up to the snow fields from Adelaide this winter in a 3.0d.
I find it hard to believe that nobody else 'down under' is 'on board'.
I appreciate that this site is primarily contributed by and US driven, but surely there are other X5 enthusiasts on the east coast of Oz, namely the Gold Coast.

Keen to see numbers, pls post a short reply.

Another Aussie, from Canberra. New to the board, but not to the brand.

A month isn't really enough time "on board" to make this observation. Stick around, read a few more threads and you will find the rest of us lurking inside somewhere.
Colin.

G'day Colin & others, point taken. I sure do intend to stick around and hopefully bump in to a few more of the Aussies. It was merely an observation given that their seems to be hundreds (prob more) of X's cruising around the GC not to mention Brisbane.
Eventually hoping to go on a run one day with a pack of X's, compare rides, do mass pic shots etc.

don't think there are many 3.0D owners here, having said that, other forums are not as active here.

agree, Top Gear Aus show is crap! But I don't care if it's good or not, what pisses me off is that they stop showing the original one.

"british humor is funny done by brits"

in addition, I would give it a thumb if they can do it as "a CAR show" properly. either funny, or proper car program. not none of them!

Hi RD,
From what I've read so far it's not a good idea to go with a non oem towbar. Sorry but I can't help with suppliers if that's the way you're gonna go.

Go to the 'Search' option and type in 'tow bar' there's a swag of info there for you. Please come back with your installation decision & pics when finished as this is something I've thought of doing some time later.

Good luck.
