X5 throwing me a P0430 code after a service.

I just sent my x5 to get alternator, fuel pump, brakes, idle control valve, crank and cam position sensors. All that changed. And everything was good until it threw another code at me that it didn't before. P0430. Anyone got an idea of what it could be before I hand it back over to the mechanic? Or waht I should check for at least?

Also I need to know how to know if the 02 sensors are bad..

The generic OBD-II readout for code 1430 is that the catalytic converter is not functioning properly, as indicated by the downstream O2 sensor. So--- sounds like at least one of your O2 sensors is failing. Of course, the BMW specific OBD-II code could be something else...

How many miles on the car, and why did you have the alternator, etc. replaced?

Thanks,
