I got a certified 04 3.0 for $40k with panorama roof, premium package, rear climate package, bmw assist and adaptive xenon headlights with 15k mileage, smells like brand new. Car was previously owned by the manager.

Traded my car and they took it for kbb trade in value though there are some problems like a leak on the rack & pinion and the alarm sometimes would not open the locks I got $9.5k. So the total is around $30.5k.

Did I get a good deal or I got jacked?

not sure if a deal or not..but i love thye manager line, or owners friend, wife etc..always a hoot to hear a sales pitch at bmw..like the cars need help to be sold!! lol....either way its yrs ENJOY IT, CONGRATS!! :) ..at hthe end of the day if yr happy , who gives a fck...thats my motto..thers ALWAYS a bettr dealif you keep lookin after you buy, thats why i never look again after i buy... :thumbup:

Yeah tell me about it after i got my 02 3.0 i found a 03 3.0 for 16500! thats UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!! the guy selling it moved to Prague and cant register it there so he is selling it dirt cheap. In good shape and was willing to do a 10 day test drive. if not satisfied send back to prague.....man did i miss out on a deal....ne wayz i do love my X5 now

i just hated payin 15,000 in taxes.....what a joke....but at least certified till 31/09/09..so i get what i pay for...but jesus ,l i'm married to it now because of the taxes! :wow:

Yea, that's the scam that been getting people's money for year's now. I'm not joking. Any how, when you look for your next car, beware.

I think thats a good deal. If it has what you want...then have no regrets...Enjoy...especially if it is CPO.
