PDC beeping all the time
 

Hi,

My Front PDC sensors are always on when i put the car in reverse and continue even if i don't have anything in front. The beep is a continous beep like am about to hit something and it contiunes even when am in drive. i have to press the pdc button in order to stop it.

Please somebody help. :tsk:

Youre lucky, mine bleep for 3 seconds when I engage reverse, then neither front or back work. Looks like a garage visit again unless somebody in here can help.?

P.s. Check that one of your sensors isn`t blocked or dirty.

Had a somewhat similar incident happen to me. I do not know where u live, but over here in EULand, we have long license plates and mine had a bracket around it. Suddenly, and this was on the front plate since it rests even with the bumper, I got the same tone and it stopped. Once I removed the border and siliconed it to the bumper, no problemo.


Like I said, I may be an idiot here regarding your problem, but the symptom seemed to be the same. Is anything too close to one of the sensors?
