Hi just wondering if any x5 owner knows where i could purchase front and rear bumper trim as seen on the 4.6 is model i am located in Ireland

Your local BMW Parts center should sell it. Also there are many websites online that sell OEM parts. The sponsers of this site, Morristown BMW, sell it for the cheapest I've seen so far. Don't know if they ship international though.

I assume you mean part numbers and not vin number? The part numbers for the pre-facelift X5 4.6 kit are:

51-11-7-062-604
51-12-7-062-601
51-12-7-062-599
51-12-7-062-600

Not sure about the facelifted X5 kits..

VIN = Vehicle Identification Number

Unique set of numbers that can be decoded to give you information about your specific vehicle - like year or exterior paint.
