You could do what I do sometimes... let them pass or overtake you... and when they're in front of you, clap like you're applauding the momentous occasion. Make sure they see you clapping. :D

unfortunetly when you play the Idiot Game, the idiot usually wins, I wouldn't worry about that guy, if his buddy was a cop and his fat ass got your plates, chances are the cop wouldn't risk is job so his buddy can beat you/x5 up

-lastly it funny sometimes I think we forget that we are driving a nice car and we just see red and go crazy but if you think about at that time who has more to lose u or some @sshole in a beater

how about keeping a paintball gun in the X for sport with the a-holes with road rage!!! That would make their day better...:rofl: (especially if their window is down!)

hey stan, something close - at least as it started had happened to me.

there is an entrance ramp to the highway that used to have a turn permitted on red sign but it was taken down a while earlier for whatever reason. People had assumed it was still in effect but when they were pulled over and the cop asked to see this sign they were left searching with a ticket in hand.:confused:

so I'm at this former turn on red but now no turn on red and I get a grade A, a-hole behind me in an american pickup who decides to blare his horn. I turn around and look at him and he begins his gestures. I shrug :dunno: and wait. he keeps honking - i had a girl in the time so needless to say, I wasn't appreciating his disrespect. I slipped the car in reverse and let PDC do the rest. Inching back - creeping towards him slowly but surely as I watched his reaction in the rear-view mirror. It was like playing chicken except that only one of us was playing and he thought I was probably out of my mind.

The car behind me is only a few inches and the PDC is blaring, his horn has lost it's voice and he has crouched under his steering wheel with his hands over his head. :wow: The light turns and I rip into first with steptronic with my 4.4i sport and soon his white pickup fades from view. He waited a good five seconds before even getting onto the ramp even though the light was green. It was almost a BMW commercial in a strange way. Obvious the girl was impressed and the X gave me one fun night thereafter :D

stay safe. if this stuff happens in hayattsville maryland, the result wont be pretty. 1st you may have just messed with the wrong guy, 2nd your speeding as a result of the chase would ending up hurting you or someone. take a deep breath and let it go. well at the end of the day, its your safety that you and your family care about.

I agree with nova :iagree: - be the bigger man sometimes and let it go - each escalation brings a simple misunderstanding closer to something catastrophic

as for the paintball gun idea - i'd advise strongly against it because the mere presence of a paintball or an airgun qualifies as a weapon in many states and secondly the effects could be deadly - all you want to do is show someone up not go for man-1
