Folding mirror sloppy job
 

just got back my '06 x5 from dealer after power folding mirror was replaced under warranty and i noticed the black plastic trim around mirror assembly is not flushed all around against the cover. gaps are bigger in bottom than top and sides but is flushed on side towards window. can anyone tell me if theirs is flushed all around ?
should have remembered to check before leaving it to dealer.

I could check mine for you tomorrow because my truck isn't at home right now. This is one of the reasons why I always inspect my x5 before leaving it there and inspect it before moving it from the parking lot.
