4.4 sounds like a deisel
 

while i was under the hood this morning trying to trace my horrible coolant leak, and replacing a blown o-ring on the oil filter, i noticed that the engine has a really horrible tick that makes the engine sound like a big cummins deisel. best i can tell the sound is coming from the left bank (drivers side) valvetrain. what could be doing this? :dunno:
