Do anyone knows what’s inside the armrest consol
 

Do anyone knows what’s inside the armrest consol? Especially the area under the phone kit, when I open the consol its heavy and I notices that there are some wires going through the arms.
I have BT+ BMW assistant but am sure they are not located there…
Ya.. you may wonder why don’t I open it and figure out what’s in there my self… but I just found that today morning … and even if I opened it, am not expert :dunno:

wiring for the phone and the mechanisms to open both parts of the armrest. Most parts are made of steel (or heavy aluminium) which accounts for the weight. I have mine out, about to mount my Ipod in the location where the phone goes.

so this can help in installing the iPod kit? sure i dont have the courage to do it my self ... i love my X and wont distroy it coz of that... FM modulator can be enough for such ppl like me :D
