should i change the oil separator while i'm back there?, sounds like a good idea. I may give it a go for a final shot, after that sounds like the stealer for diagnostics

Go for it and good luck! Besides, if you didn't change all that they would probably just have to add it to the estimate anyways.

Well still no luck, still have the SES light on....all though it did go off and come back on after I tightened the gas cap (which does not make sense to me) So I went ahead and replaced it and still no change.....:dunno: :dunno:

I guess I will have to go ahead and replace the o2 sensor to see if that fixes anything.

is there a DIY for an o2 sensor replacement???

You do realize that by the time you are done throwing parts at it you could have paid for a proper diagnosis at the dealer or a competent indy? Nothing beats a proper diagnosis for only changing the parts you need!
