Help ... A/C Blower is not working properly

Guys, I have a strange issue with the A/C blower, when starting the car, the AC works fine and keeps working for around 20 minutes, then the air stops (you can still feel the cold air) . When I press the “MAX” button, everything returns back to normal and the cold air comes back. The rear blower is working great.

I read many posts related to the FSR and therefore changed it (based on the instructions found on this site) but the problem still there. I also checked the fuse but the problem is still there. The mechanics said that the cause is the A/C blower motor (it gets heated) and it should be changed, however, I don’t think this is accurate because the blower starts working upon pressing the “MAX” button. He quoted me around $ 500 labor and around $600 for the blower.

Do you think the issue is with the blower or there is another component that causes this. I appreciate any feedback/ advice you can provide.

Thanks ZULU95 for your reply, but as I mentioned that I already replaced the FSR but the problem still there. Any other ideas please ...

Could be the motor. Others here have had to change them but usually then it is go/no go situation. Your symptoms sound (from afar) like a defective FSR. Was your replacement of the "new" type and not another "old" type?

yes, i replaced it with a new one. I noticed that the two are identical (the old was already replaced with the new type) How can you tell if the new FSR is defective, any test procedure?
