X5 needs new tires!

Hey guys, this is for my parents ride

they got a 3.0 X5, current tires are xeons somethings with 275/45/20, not oem rim.

anyways, i searched and some wheels that caught my attention were the michelin lattitudes and pirelli scorpian.

which all season tire would you recommend? that has good dry and wet, and also some snow. especially rain, since it rains alot here.

Remember, this is for my parents so something that is a little smoother and quieter. Should i keep the same setup of 275/45/20? or go narrower with a fatter sidewall?

thanks guys

I have the scorpions right now. Very good tires. Handles very well in both wet and dry. I haven't had a chance to try them out in light snows yet, but it doesn't look like I'll have the opportunity as mine are almost bald only after about 20,000 miles. I'm not sure if I would replace them with the same since I don't want to be doing tire replacement every year, expecially at about $300 a piece. I'm leaning toward the Michelin Lattitudes right now as my next replacement since the Toyo ST-II isn't available in the staggered 19 fitment yet.

I would switch them out for the winter. Have a winter set changeover. It will be much cheaper in the long to run crappy rims with snow/rain tires in the winter. I buy my winter tires from Les Schwab and they change the set over for free as long as one of the sets of tires is from them.

Here's one I found in Seattle.
