driver side window switch
 
I have red here about defekt window regulators, its a normal problem i understand. But is the regulator the same as the unit with the four switches or is it somting els innside the door? All switces work ecsept drivers door somtimes vont work on my x5.

the switch have not thing to do with the window regulators there are two diff. thing, you have bad window switch or lose connector.

I am looking at your post and wandering if you are actually referring to the one touch up/down. If the door is open when you hit the switch the one touch does not work, you will have to hold the switch for the window to go down/up.

I understand what you mean, but the switch is either koplitly dead or work as it shud whid the onetutch/ dor open dor close.

Try this to see if its the window regulator...hold the button on the key that unlocks the car until the windows open...if all your windows come down xept your driver's then its most likely the regulator..
