I just bought my X5 recently and I was wondering if the box in the center was a cd changer? o.O

The CD changer was located in the hatch - rear cargo area - in both my E53s. What box are you talking about?

Are you talking about CD storage under the armrest? (#4 in the pic)
If so then, no, that's not a CD Changer.
