reinstall PDC housing?
 

Searched and looked for a while but couldn't find instructions for what I am hoping.. Someone hit my X and knocked out one of my PDC sensors.. I am going to get the part for the outside to snap the sensor back in, but does anyone have DIY instructions/pictures or any advice on how to do this? I assume it is not that difficult to complete, but would love some advice on how to go about fixing it!

The PDC sensor housing is two-fold: the exterior cover and the interior sensor tube. The tube and exterior cover snap together tightly against the hole in the bumper. Check out pages 13 and 14 and look at the inset picture of the mounting where part 1 and 3 meet. FYI, this will be very difficult to do without removing the bumper cover.

Thanks for the info! I was only doing one rear one and was able to get it hooked back up and all secured without taking the bumper cover. Found out a few little tricks along the way to make it easier, but overall wasn't terribly horrible without removing the bumper.

I had to replace one also. Actually, the other 3 look faded compared to the new one, so I bought 3 more and need to finish the job. You can do it without removing the bumper cover, but both of the housings snap together very tightly and can be a pain in the a$$ as you know.
