are sport seats different in 4.4 vs 4.8?
 

other then the leather texture, are sport seats different in 2004-2006 4.4 vs 4.8?

I have sport seats in my 4.4, also own a e46 M3 and LOVE the M3 seats. if the 4.8 seats are different in the 4.8 I would buy them.

Also, does anyone know if you can fit e46 M3 seats into a 2004 x5?

Yes, the texture is different. They're softer. Otherwise it is essentially the same shape all around. Also, you can have Alcantara which is a suede like material.

There is a member that put in e46 sedan sport seats so I think the M3 seats may fit as well.

can't say that I've seen it personally, I think vitolo mentioned it to me?

if you have both you can measure the rails & check the connections.

I'm curious why you'd want m3 seats though, they're so stiff..
