Expansion Coolant Tank - bobber floater
 

I've seemed to lose the bobber floater/gauge that is within the expansion coolant tank during a recent coolant flush.

Anyone have any handy ideas on how to retreive the bobber floater as it is lost in the expansion tank?

I noticed the same problem with mine yesterday...but mine looks like it snapped in the middle. I just hope it will stay in the coolant tank and not go all the way into the engine:( anyone knows if there is some kind of the screen in the coolant tank to prevent that?
I ordered a new coolant tank for $75 from Bavauto :rolleyes: Next weekend project:cool:

Not knowing how it is stuck/wedged in the reservoir, I think a long
forceps may be able to noogie it around and jerk it out vertically
through the fill hole...I've rescued a lot of dropped parts over the
years with my forcep/hemostat collection.
