ihab,
put simply, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't buy those not even with your money. I note they have amber blinkers as well, why would you bother?

I've sat in the wings now for some time reading threads & doing my own research re headlight upgrades. If you can't afford oem headlights (like most of us) then go with a reputable company like www.customangeleyes.com or www.angelibrite.com (apparently same company I believe). Make sure you talk to Dave. Have a look at what Richirich and others have done, he swears by this supplier. S & H won't be cheap but at the end of the day it'll be well worth it.

You drive a fantastic machine, give it fantastic lights.

PS: Search is always a good place to start

thanks..

thanks man for the reply...u are 100% right... especially with the high cost of shipping to israel.. around 250USD not including customs... i have to make sure i buy the right stuff...
i checked to these sites .. both looks professional... but tell me.. did i understand right.. they dont give u the whole unit.. just the inside including every thing.. and u have to install it to your orignal headlight unit.. am i right..

ihab,
As I havn't gone ahead with mine as yet I'm not qualified to answer your query, but you may be right. What you need to do my friend is ask richirich . Apparently he has a black belt :kungfu: in these matters, I'm sure he will assist. Because you have 2000 model headlights they are easy to open, many guys have done this mod themselves so I'm sure you & I can do it.

Please excuse my ignorance but do you drive on the right hand side of the road as in the USA (driver seated on the left) ? If you don't, make sure your supplier is aware re correct headlight beam issue.

Let me know how you get on.

Just FYI, if you have an E53 you can buy the whole headlight assemly (which is what I did). Everything will be pre-installed and it will be a plug and play setup. You will lose the auto level feature, but you will get 6000k lowbeams, CCFL angel eyes, and clear turn signals. So far, I am very satisfied. They have stood up to a lot of rain with no signs of leaking or issues.

This setup is costly, $1038. So if your headlight lenses are in good condition and you know how to open your own headlights and install angel eyes, go for it. Otherwise, this setup is worth every penny in my opinion..

thanks..
i was searching in um nitza... i was reading that some guys try it and the quality is sound... . do you think i shall consider this option too.. or just forget about it

Suffice to say maybe keep looking as their are other & better options IMO. They left a bad taste in my mouth when trying to order just bulbs, emails went back and forward about 10 times trying to confirm the order. Google them and you will get a better idea, enough said.
Richirich & mtX5 are on the money. Good luck.

Stay away from Umnitza!! Poor quality and poor service. Check out these posts for what they did to another member on this forum: http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...ht=Umnitza+p53

and this for the issue with me (before i ordered from custom angel eyes)
