H&R Springs and M Steering

Anyone have any tips?
I wanted to get them, is installation difficult? Any side effects after?

Also looking for an M3 steering wheel

Anyone know where to get one, i hear you can get the off salvaged m3s and is instalation difficult, what are the costs?

Thanks

I think you need a new airbag too for the steering wheel.

You find find details about the M3 wheel and installation on the home page. If yours is a Sport, you can reuse your existing air bag.

Don't replace the springs unless you're replacing the shocks too. Installation difficulty greatly depends on your skill level.

M3 SMG II steering wheel is an easy mod - a little more difficult with paddle shifters. Be familiar with articles 1, 2 , 3 & 4 under "Interior" on the main x5world webpage.
BTW the smg wheel is my favorite mod  The cost is between $300-500 less airbag.

I'm definitely looking to for the SMG II Wheel, I really feel cheesy in the steptronic mode, those threads on the inside of the wheel give me goosebumps, I think the price is reasonable also.

Vinuneuro, do you know of any other method to lower the car any where from an inch to 2 inches?

It's an SUV, lowering it is silly.

You have to use springs to lower, but you should also get aftermarket shocks if you do so.

Yea, it is, but after selling our cabin, the only thing i use it for is daily driving, and all my friends are heavy feet so keeping up in the turns anywhere from 5-10% more will keep me in the lead :-) with all that power under the hood. Ill definitely look into both, thanks for the help tho
