Video on Navigation question
sorry if this was already answered before...I searched:dunno:
I just purchased Intravee and will be installing it this weekend, I want to know what should I buy and where to get Video on my Navi. I saw some video conversion kits but they work with Dice but how about Intravee. I want to use my video ipod with it. Any help would be great. Thanks. |
What to use for iPod video will be very interesting to see the solution.... I have the Alpine KCE-415i and it worked well with my 80Gb 3rd generation iPod. I got the 5th Generation 160Gb and it does not display the video and introduced noise into my system... I finally changed to the KCA-420i and it works great just no video... I think right now the only option that displays video for the 5th generation iPods are the Apple cables, so I am thinking of getting one of those and conect it to one of my aux video sources...

So I got Intravee+KCE-415i & I am planing to use my 5th generation iPOd toobut my question is what video-converter will work with intravee...???I saw some on eBay for 199 but I am not sure if they are ok

From my research, I have found that only the Apple cables that state they output video for 5th generation iPods and iPhone will work, but with those items you will have to control all from the iPod and remember to shut off your ipod before exiting your vehicle (same with the KCE-415i) or else you will come back to your X after 9 hours of work and your iPod will still be playing..... So if anyone know of any device which will control the iPod and display video for 5th generation and above iPods, it would be greatly appreciated to know |
