just ordered some Vredestein Sessanta tires.
tired of paying $1600+ for michelin Diamaris every freaking 8-10K
anyone get these tires? I read some reviews online and they seem solid. I was able to get it for $890 shipped from california to Florida  |
Quite a few on this forum have them, I haven't heard any bad reviews yet. Waiting for some higher mileage reviews of them... hint-hint! :D

10K miles, you must be joking! I am still on the original set of Michelins, 19" Sport Wheels, and just about to pass 40,000 miles! I had them tested at a tyre shop and they still have 3mm tread, and passed the MOT.
I don't potter about but do keep an eye on the tyre pressures. I use 32psi all round to avoid the bald strip in the centre. The difference could be that it is a 3.0 diesel so less power maybe, but how do you smoke the tyres on an X5 anyway? Have you checked your alignment, it sounds like the wheels are pointing in 4 different directions! |
