hi everyone...2005 x5 4.4 prem/sport package..could someone please help me with this dumb hvac system that bmw uses...dosent say much for german engineering when my honda has a better system...today it is cold in new york..22 degrees..this morning i started her up it was 14 degrees..she started right up no issues and i have the system set on auto 72 degrees..i let her warm up and increased temp to 77 and drove off but cold air//like a/c air// was coming out from the face vents and hot air from foot vents..then i directed air only from face vents and it was not coming out hot like it was from the foot vents or even the windshield vents..is this working normally...thanks rob..

In the center vent there is a dial that ranges from a couple dots on red to a couple dots on blue. If you have it set to the blue then you are going to get cold air on your face.

Its a feature Honda does not offer.
