Nakamichi glove box CD changer

Will this CD changer work with my 02 X5. If so what parts do I need besides the bracket in order to connect it inside my glove box?

Don't think they still make it....however, heard that realibility is not that great at best. Thus, BMW stopped carrying and offering the Nakamichi.

Kewl is correct! Stay away from using the Nakamichi unit. Major reliability issues. You are better of singing to yourself! :D

I already have the brand new changer (brother in law got it witha core exchange 2 years ago). What do I need to hook it up to my existing system?

:yikes: You DO NOT hook it up to your existing system! Since it is brand new, it should make it that much easier to sell on ebay. This advice is FREE....please take it and you do not have to thank me.

My x5 came with the cd changer in my glove box I do not know what you need to hook it up but if you are willing to sell the changer I will buy it or if you brother in-law know how to do the core replacement it would be nice to get me that info also. I am Sean my e-mail is [email protected] looking forward to hearing from you. If you dont have nav or the dsp system use an ipod they are the best I have it in my 325 but can't get it in the x5 because of the nav and dsp Sean.;)

Sean,
You can get an Ipod adapter if you have NAV and DSP. Dice and Intravee both make products for this exact purpose. Take a look on the Audio forum.

Good luck!
