Keeping the X
 

Leased the X for 3yrs and they were up next month,but love her so much couldn't part ways,so I bought her.Ahh great day today.

Isn't love grand! (even when it's for a vehicle...)

Any new mods planned now that she's yours?

Just ordered an intake as we speak.Not sure what else,maybe some sway bars.Any suggestions? Were you at the meet in Virginia a few years back?

No, didn't even know about this site a few years back...

If you have a V8, consider the x-pipe mod! It makes a good difference in the sound without being overly loud like a muscle car.

I hope that you got it for less than the stated residual amount.

When I did the research to change my exhaust sound I didn't see all the threads about x-pipes, but saw the sticky on the front page by DanDe with the small resonators. That's what I did, which sounds great from in the truck when you get on it. The x-pipe would have a smoother, more fluid sound from outside by equalizing the exhaust banks. My current setup is separate dual exhaust.

Given that you've bought the car, you must be happy with it...but what problems/niggles have you experienced with the X5?

How much did you wind up paying for the X and what type of mileage features and what year is your X?
