I might have to consider doing something like this myself instead of the BSW sub (but then again I might just be lazy and buy the BSW Stage 1 and Sub combo - but it ain't cheap). Nice work gents :woot:

Is there a big difference? This has the a frequency response of 20 ~ 1,000Hz and 250W vs. 20Hz ~ 144 Hz, 200W for the Pioneer TS-SW251.

Which has the better frequency range? I'm more concerned with range than power/loudness.

TS-SW2541D is the older model ... they are almost the same ... when it comes to frequncy response for the sub, all you should care about is the lower end. The other end is covered by the other 10 speakers in your car.

Plus, TS-SW251 is much cheaper :)

Yes, I'm talking about the lower end frequencies. Which one has the better range for recreating the low-end frequencies?

Strange, the older model actually costs more?!

They are both starting from 20Hz so they are the same.
The 251 has a better sensitivity though (89dB while the 2541 has 87dB)

Thanks! I'm gonna stick with the 251.
