Rear Passenger TV option
 

I have recently bought a an '05 X5 3.0d, having read the BMW manual that comes with it and the '04 manual on this site and going through the forms I still cannot find reference to the following items in my X5. In the rear passenger console there are some jack sockets for AV in and out and on the other side a button reading 'TV' see picture attached.

My questions are, is this a BMW option? it is obviously something to do with the entertainment system but what and how does it work?

Any help or advise would be much appreciated.
