Rear Side Defrost Question

Tonight, I noticed that only one of the side windows in the rear hatch area has defrost wires in the glass. The driver's side has the wires, but not on the passenger side. Is this normal, or do I have an SAV with cheap replacement glass? Carfax doesn't show accident history, but certainly something could have happened to the piece of glass.

It's not a defroster on the rear side window, only the rear glass has a defroster.

I believe it may be the antenna for the radio... BMW likes to do that kind of thing.

Yes, and that is why the radio reception is marginal.
