The X reminds me quickly why..
 

So i'm riding up to Lawrence KS (30 mins away) to attend the Kansas Jayhawks basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse and I'm riding in a friend's late model Honda Civic... The ride there and back was...unpleasant to say the least. I haven't been in any other type of vehicle besides a bimmer in probably close to 6 months so maybe i got a little spoiled. But the ride was loud, noisy, bumpy, uncomfortable and just overall not good..

Right then and there I realized how lucky I am to be driving the X, and why I have one, and just how big a difference it is.. We get back to KC and I drive off in my X, quiet, smooth, comfortable, and a pleasurable experience. I guess I got a little spoiled driving the X all the time. Like you guys needed to know that a Honda Civic is not a BMW....:rofl:

LOL I actually own a 04 civic that my wife and I use when a secondary car is needed.(mostly I use it to commute to work,trying to save gas and mileage). I couldn't agree more the civic is a tough ride and very noisy. But one thing I find very funny, is the civic has been in the shop zero times in 4 yrs. we have owned the civic since 2004. We brought it new. We got the x5 6 months ago. A 04 4.4 CPO, and it's been in the shop 3x. I still love my bimmer though!! But our civic always gets the job done.
