Operating coolant temp.

Anyone checks their operating coolant temperature? What's the temperature you see? Does it normally reach to 106C or so after a moderate driving? I've read somewhere saying our thermostat opens at 109C and anything under 110C is normal. Just want to check with you guys.

When my car is at temp after about 10 minutes I usually see somewhere around 200*F on the scanner.

hmm.. so, 200F is the highest temp you've ever seen? I assume that's the engine outlet coolant temp. on your scanner, right?

any other member use check control function #7 on OBD to monitor operating coolant temp?
