Is the roof double skined?

Does anybody knows if the 02 X5 roof is double skined?
I was thinking about fiting a couple of overhead DVD screens
and I would need to screw up into the headlining and hopefully
something a bit stronger.

The (double) pano-roof started from April-2004 build X5s so you should be OK.
