Noise in rear end
 

'02 3.0 with increasingly loud hum and whine in rear end. Carrier bearings or cv? Any ideas? I'd like to have an idea before taking it in. Thanks!

sounds like a rear wheel bearing, does it get louder if you load it srom side to side while on the highway? if so its a wheel bearing.
