X5 just shut off?
 

I was on my way back to work from lunch - then sitting at the stop light for about 10 seconds, the car just shut off. The idle was between 500 and 1000. Anyone else had this issue before?

Did it restart?

If it restarted soon after it may be a cam position sensor. Have the faults read to see if anything got stored.

Yes, it restarted right away with no issues. That's what I thought, the cam position sensor. It happened on my 3.0 as well but it had different symptoms. Thanks for the quick replies. :)
