Give me a couple of mins and I'll dig up North America sales for you...

Edit:
Here's a pdf link from Fred Meloan...a poster that used to toss up
excellent sales unit stats; I think he retired. Crank up the zoom, scroll
and it will answer most of your questions on indiviual X sales by year.

Thanks for the props...time on my hands, a fading but still decent memory of all the stuff I've read
on this Board, etc.

Speaking of The Shell Answer Man: one of my best & longest time friends on the fookin planet
is The Original Shell Answer Man! I kid you not, as ol'Jack Parr used to say.

A pic of he, (Bob Bush), his wife, my CEO & yours truly at their daughter's wedding this past November.
Small freakin world!

Yes...Bob was the orig Shell Answer Man: the guy that stood there in the white lab coat and did the voice overs.
He got the gig while on a lunch break: he was overheard talking by a producer, who liked his voice. He showed up
for a test/audition on a lark. Got hired, did a dozenish commercials. The residuals were not what they are today.
I did not know him then, but we met & worked together since '80 and he is one of my best buds on the planet.

His wife Marlene, next to him in the pic, also had a bit part in the Aliens movie: she was the lab tech, early
in the film, with a close up, who screams at the realization that the Alien creatures are still alive.
All that and 2 bucks will get any of us on the subway...:D
One cannot make this stuff up.

great stats! i am confused though how the YTD sales for each year keep going well into the next year? For example there were only 1,144 4.8is's in Dec 05, I could imagine some 05's being left over til 06, but almost 200 of them? Is that normal for a manufacturer to have so many units in stock when the newer model year is already released?

Hey man good to see you around the boards again!

Well, don't they start selling cars for the next year during the fall of the current year?

And I'm thinking 200 is actually a low number.
