New car today!
 

Well for awhile now I have been looking for an X5 cause in the winter time its a problem to drive my 328i around, and today the day has come I just brought and 04 X5 3.0 6-speed silver :wow: , black leather interior preium/sport packages, and it looks sweet! picks soon! :rofl: on wednesday when i pick it up I am still sad that my 328i 2000 step is going I love her bad she will be missed :(

Oh yea this is my first manual car ...any suggestions, i had a step before i was praying to get a manual tho cause i like them a lot.

Hmmm...from your pictures, it doesn't look like it has the sports package as you've indicated? But it's still a sweet ride! Congrats on the purchase!

First manual, huh? Wow.... you picked one hell of a car in which to learn how to drive a stick. Do you or one of your friends have something else on which you can learn and practice?

no not many people i know drive stick... my pops does but I dunno i figure i'll learn pretty quick any tips on driving the thing though. I think i know the basics but thats one thing heh.

I bought my X5 from Westchester BMW too.

Very nice. I really like the light colored wood, too. I think I'd like a 6-speed as well (sometimes). Congratulations!

Changing out the Clutch Delay Valve would help you a lot in learning how to drive manual.

Congrats on your new ride. Looks nice. I bought my first manual car many moons ago before learning how to drive a stick also. It was a wild ride, especially in San Francisco with all the hills. I can still remember getting stuck on a hill in Chinatown! But eventually no problem, so best of luck with it. Have fun.
