ride level sensor?

I just found the plastic arm on it is broken. The senor is #1 in the diagram at the link below and the platic arm is broken at where the #5 nut goes in. So, that tiny rod(#3) is currently not attached to the arm on sensor.

I identify the sensor by the shape of bracket it's attached to. But not sure if it's really the sensor I'll need because there are several other sensors on the same diagram are called 'LEVEL SENSOR' as well. Is it the one that controls headlight aiming level? Is the sensor labeled #1 the right one I'll need to get?

It looks like I can have a jerry-rigged fix. What do you think? The sensor is pretty expensive. ($80 something on the parts website.)

Oh. I forgot to mention it's on the passenger side.

I'm not certain, but I think you may need the dealer to re-calibrate the system after you replace the sensor.

that's what I was wondering too. but I think I don't have to if that sensor is only for headlight aiming level. if it's the steering angle sensor, then I guess I'll need to re-calibrate it. anyone can confirm?

Front or rear?

Parts #8 & #13 are for the rear air suspension.

Part #1 is for the headlight aiming, especially if you don't have air suspension in the front.

I replaced 2 sensors in the rear last summer along with the brackets and rods. (Inactive suspension level came on, and the sensor rods were seized)

it's the front. so, I guess sensor #1 is the one I'll need to order.

Good luck, make sure you can get 2x #4 screws off as well, you might have to remove the bracket to do so.
