Different is not always better

I am not a fan of the white heavily modified X5 featured in this post, nor the pearl orange example above, but if the owners are happy, great for them!!
I do like the silver front under bumper tray I see on a few X5's here like richirich and TaMbALoLoNg's vehicles. (See photo in post signature above) I looked in the E53 parts catalog and found what I think is that unit for approx $200, and it says it requires painting and is plastic. I find this a nice and tasteful OE option. Not to stray too far off topic here, but if any of you have this on your X5, is it, in your opinion, worth the investement? Is there another that you feel is "better". |
