Picked it up 18 hours ago and she's already dirty!
 

Well i picked up my X5 last night at 7pm and have had a blast with her so far!!! My wife tried to convince me to let her take it to work today but as nice as I am at sharing I just couldn't do it for the first day. I woke up at 5:30AM looking for excuses to drive all over the place... I've put on 160 miles and it's only 1PM!

Anyways, I'm really excited to officially be a part of the forum now and even more excited to own such an amazing vehicle.

I'll tell you... I went from a 2003 330xi to a Scion tC to save $$$ and the past 4 years of driving for me have been intensely lacking. Jumping back into a BMW has been such a fantastic experience that I don't think I really could put a price tag on! I loooooooooove driving it so much that you seriously have to pry me out of it!

Oh, and I just found out about the Sport mode with the Steptronic... I'm toast!

disturbed - what year is your M5?? It's funny, before I got the X I never thought I would buy an SUV but now I don't know if I'll go back...

Jay ... Thanx! Unfortunately, or fortunately, the X is my wife's daily driver. If I had it, I'd get no work done as I'd have to run "errands" every 1/2 hour or so! :D :rofl:
