fan removal kit?

do any 1 out there know's about any fan removal kit? it suppose to add 20 percent horse power to your ride. could any 1 shead some lite on this?

I don't but I doubt removing any fan would give back 20% HP - because it probably isn't using that much. Thats 70HP on a 350HP motor.

I could be wrong but 20% seems a lot!

Hey Jose,
I think the poster might be referring to one of those air intake vortex fan jibby jobby's, something like these: Fuel Saver Power Tornado Launcher Turbine Air Intake - eBay, Other Car Parts, Accessories, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 04-Apr-09 18:18:44 AEDST)

or Vortec Cyclone - Save Gas, Boost Horsepower

Not so much a fan removal, more like a fan installation.

Keeping my wallet hidden on this one, sorry.

I just realized, Twins is 2 posts off the big one. Well done.

I'm really curious what the OP is talking about.

I can't believe people would actually fall for that. I WOULD believe that they get it for looks though - not actual performance.

I think the big one is add one more zero! :D

You will lose power with them cos they lower air flow.

The first one is correct when they say " improve low end torque" yep thats what happen when you reduce you intake flow but you lose power on rest of curve

Sorry I can't help you Dreds. Not sure what you are referring to.

If you mean removing the cooling fan and adding an electric fan then this will release some power but nowhere near 20%. Maybe 2%!

X5Girl, xxx

It's a foolish mod. You might gain 2-3hp.
