Dinan X5 Photoshoot
Hey guys,
Well, I've owned a BMW for a little over a week now. Picked it up in Houston, drove it back to my house in Virginia Beach. It was quite dirty after the 1300 mile drive through rain and whatnot. Friday afternoon I remembered what it was like to wash and detail a black vehicle. Absolute hell.... but rewarding. Here are the results: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4253C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4258C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4221C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4245C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4228C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4308C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4261C.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/h.../IMG_4273C.jpg |

mrbmwx5, X5 Meister, vegasX5 - Thank you! It's always fun to detail a new purchase for the first time.
jsears - The truck does not have a Dinan exhaust. (Which is nice for two reasons: it keeps me low key with the Virginia's finest, and it gives more pronounced supercharger noise.) JayX5 - Thanks, that is exactly the effect that I would like it to present. ZsX5o3 - I might photoshop some gloss black kidneys on and see how it looks. X Foomph - Thanks, unfortunately in the race against daylight (from what my gf calls "the magic hour") we did not get interior shots. The only notable things are the SMG steering wheel and NAV. Michelle, Mr.Black, richirich, x555a, MINz guy - thank you, I've seen some other X5's on the road since I purchased. Perhaps I am paying more attention to them now. Do you all do "the wave"? 3000GT owners generally do, (I think because we're both so happy to have a running car that day, haha.) HBX5, thanks and yes family first. We're happy. :) |
Very nice pics! Black is one of the hardest to shoot. Great lighting and major props to your girl. Good lookin X:thumbup:
