33k? is it just me or is that high in this market.

Light poplar in the combo is my least favorite combo. Dark is better and Smoke-grey is 2nd best. Creme interior is awesome except BMW screwed up on the seatbacks...should have made them black. (top to bottom light poplar, dark poplar, smoke-grey ("anthracite") poplar))

Normally I'd agree but I love the light poplar wood on mine now.

46k is pretty high. if it included an extended warranty up to 100k then it would fly all the way to maryland.

I'm pretty much set on the fact that I want a 2006. I'm leaning more toward a 4.4i and adding the 4.8 kit and tips, rear flares, and my 87's, though. (Unless I can find an '06 4.8iS for under $30,000.) ;)

BTW: new here, 1st post, looking for Imola 4.4 or 4.8iS. Prefer CPO if I can find one (ok, found an '05 4.4i but it seemed high at $29.9k w/47k miles).

Winters I wouldn't be worried about. No CPO I would.

Nice ride for sure, but that leather sucks, IMO. I don't know what it is, but it looks loose or worn out. I have seen this before on later model e53's where the leather looks wavey or stretched with all those wrinkles on the seat bottoms. Not good at all, IMO. What's the deal? Not to mention that the particular wood trim color is horrible with that color scheme.

Yeah looks like the driver had intestinal issues. Or maybe it was previously owned by kim kardasian.

I like the light wood, because you don't see it that often on 4.8is.

Checked the dealership at Google street view. Rough neighborhood for reputable dealer?

Rough neighborhood? no not at all. Woodside NY.. It's NYC.. 5 boroughs what do you expect? LOL. On the same Northern Blvd there is a VW, Acura, Honda, Nissan, GM, Toyota and Mercedes Benz dealership. And then a ton of smaller dealerships like this one - i found these guys to be the best of the smaller dealerships. That and they had the car i wanted.. so who cares what the neighborhood looks like - i was driving out!!

I was just there today talking to him about some stuff about my wife's car we just bought from there. The 4.8 is at ralley BMW getting a full service treatment.. he said he would consider doing it for 30k if it was referred through me.

i was gonna say the same thing. :rofl: poor cow got killed twice. bad karma i guess.:D
