moist inside headlight.
 

Any advise to deal with this problem? Its mostly at the left front blinker and in front of highbeam light, There is a rubber cap on top of housing this looks ok but the moist must come in from somewere. Its only realy small waterdrops and it may over time cause corusjon innside lamp. 2001 3.0i

Some people will say to leave the high beams on for a time, but I've never found this to work.

What I have found to work is hooking up a vacuum cleaner to the turn signal hole. Make sure it's air tight and leave it for about 10-15 minutes.

Not a permanent solution but mine strangley never came back after doing this.

I took mine to my local electrician who put silicon all around the seal... great till now... as for future need to open the light for a bulb replacement or something, silicon can be easily cut through with a cutter...

If i undestad you korrektly, its the hole for the turn signal bulbe?

One of mine has condensation too.

Hmmm .. that means I got to take the bumper off. Take the light out. Tape/close off the breathing holes with filter (I think there's 2). Then vacuum and put it all back!

I recommend removing the headlight so its easier to deal with. Instructions are found on the main x5world webpage. There are 2 breather holes as mention by the other posters. They are small right angled rubber tubes. If you want to dry it out, you can place a funnel to them and direct air from a hair blow dryer (use low heat or no heat at all). Or you can use the turn signal socket hole as others mention to achieve the same result. You will see it evaporate almost immediately. Then finger on a nice bead of black RTV silicone around the factory seal to eliminate the leak.

when you lift hood then look at top of lights you`ll see 30mm round rubber grommet,, seal around this with silicone grease.

Yes i see this rubber cap, but i have to dry it out before i seal it?

I WOULD JUST SEAL THEM , they should dry through breathers.
