had the rear spolier but my former girlfriend damaged it when hooking up the seadoo trailer and its an 07 m45 cant have anything other then a V8

actually drives really well w/ 22s especially after being lowered

Awesome color BTW. Congrats.

JayX5 03-15-2009 01:13 AM

Wow that looks sooo effing amazing. Do you have titanium bumper grids in the 4.8is bumper as well? Is it part of the 4.8is bumper or did it come from your stock 4.4 bumper?

2006E53 03-15-2009 01:17 AM

i re-intalled the titanium grids from the 4.4 into the 4.8 front

X5World is just awesome... thanks...

truwrxtacy 03-18-2009 02:36 PM

question about your tint, is taht 15% all the way around? or is it 15% on just the front? i took my car to the tint shop and they told me since the BMW has a factory tint (20%) if they were to tint the back it would automatically go to 5%. How did you do yours?

Yea 22's in Bayonne NJ under 4500lbs of X5 don't do to well! You WILL bend a wheel, eventually. North Jersey roads are rough these days...

JCAPX5 03-30-2009 11:59 PM

22's on H&R springs looks awesome my friend, well done.

Are there any potential BMW Warranty issues with using the H&R lowering springs? I recall reading that under CPO several of the suspension parts are not covered. Anybody have a good handle on this?

I'm sure they (BAD dealership) could give you a hard time if you've got front end or brake problems "resulting" from the H&R springs but I'm wondering what the technical details of the CPO coverage would get us.

Anyway, kick-ass X5 dude.

JTis 03-31-2009 12:26 AM

Man, as recently as a few months ago who woulda thought that out of all the mods you've done, the oem trailer hitch would be the one making some of us drool?

beautiful truck....may replace steel gray as my favorite X5 color.

enoteware 04-01-2009 11:46 AM

Can you give an honest opinion of how your ride is with those 22s and springs? I am looking to buy those, but am worried about giving up a ton of ride quality.

enoteware 04-06-2009 08:52 PM

bumpage

180Technology 04-06-2009 09:05 PM

Where can you buy the 22" replica 168 wheels like on the first picture on the first page? Those look excellent!

RMak 04-06-2009 09:48 PM

Wow! Your X5 looks absolutely stunning! :wow:

It actually makes your X5 look bigger than it is. How does she ride?

chujk 08-03-2009 10:08 PM

very nice ride

dsm2925 08-03-2009 10:22 PM

this is the nicest x.. #1 on dsm2925 list. thencomes the matte white x5 with the black m6 wheels

chujk 08-06-2009 11:18 PM

do you have to change the whole front bumper on the 4.4i to have the look of the 4.8i, or do you just add the bottom lip to the 4.4i bumper?

Great looking X! The link above is my X. I painted my lower rear spoiler and must say it adds sooo much to the back. The OEM rear bumper already has the 4.6/8 spoiler pretty much already molded into it...I just taped it off..painted and clear coated it.

Some day I'll buy the full kit, but its a great cheap fix, and look all right!
