Does anyone have a LeMans kit on their X5
 

i spoke to a guy today when i was having the oil changed at the stealer.. He showed me some pics on a magizine of a grey one..( pretty mean looking and exhaust tip come out of center rear like the srt8 jeep..

has anyone done this conversion?
does anyone have real pics not magazine pics....

Nope, those bumpers don't exist. I have the closest thing I've seen to those and they are not exactly the same. As for the pics, you can find them on the internet, try googling it there are many.

I just got the X from the shop this week and right there the water pump failed on me so had to take it to the dealer and got it back yesterday so it's dirty right now. I'm going to wash it tomorrow and hopefully get a good photo session. I'll upload as soon as I take them. As for in what part of DR I live in, the answer is Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional. Are you talking about the LeMans rear fender flares or something else entirely?

What whole kit? That's my question. The only difference b/w the regular fender flares and the LeMans kit fender flares are the rear ones that with LeMans curve under the non 'is bumper/diffuser while the regular kit has rear flares that just end straight down and are used on the 'is rear bumper/diffuser. Front flares are the same in both cases.

They're talking about the 700+ monster X5 that BMW doesn't sell - not the LeMans flare retrofit kit.

The guy wants to know if anyone has that body kit - not realizing its not available or maybe thinking someone did it with some customizing - or whatever.

Oh I see! I was dying to use my new knowledge on the rear flares and show off! Next time I need to make sure you're not online!;)

I'm surprised they can't get that complete kit. I bought several of them over the years without much issue. The bodywork wasn't as hard to put on as I originally thought.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay on the pics but I could't wash the X since my water pump stopped working and had to replace it and then most of the weekend rained. Today was sunny but X is dirty and my stomach hurts so I wasn't in the mood, but next week they'll be here...promise. I'd like to see X5 Meister's hood pic as well...

Well to tell you the truth, and it hurts to say it, ... the hood fits a 4.6is only and not a 4.8is so unfortunately it just won't work on your car. Hey if it would fit I'd deliver it in person.
