chains on twumps
Is it possible to put chains on 20's for "light" snow travel? Without damaging the rim and actually getting traction?
I ask b/c I am moving to SF and I ski a lot and my parents live there but I sold my other set of rims with snow tires a while back. Is it possible? Advisable? Just plain stupid? |

I saw a recent thread with this... they had the kind that latches over the outer edge of the wheel, and didn't even come close to scratching the wheel. Looked like they would be perfect for what you would need. Unfortunately I wasn't subscribed to the thread and don't remember the kind they were...
