Removing Window Vent Visors
 

Has anyone tried to REMOVE window vent visors? My pre-owned X came with them. I've left them on for the past year but I really have no use for them and I'd like to get rid of them.

They appear to be held in place by the existing window trim and I'm wondering if this trim will "bounce back" after the visors have been in there for a few years. The last thing I want is windows that don't properly seal after I remove the visors.

I've done some research and have read that the fronts are held in by the existing trim while the rears use adhesive. If I remove the rear visors, will I leave any adhesive behind that will cause problems with the window operation?

After market stick-on wind deflectors that go around the windows.

Not sure about removal though.
