Steering Wheel Issue
 

The steering wheel on my '03 X5 4.4 moves up and down but stopped moving in and out. Anyone else have a similar problem or thoughts on a possible fix?

Probably the motor needs to be replaced. I guess you could try and see if there are any loose connections or have it diagnosed at the dealer. The dealer diagnosing will probably cost you as much as the part.

There are two motors - one for vertical and the other for horizontal adjustment. Double check with your dealer on the correct part#s. You only need to replace the faulty one not both motors.
