well with the potholes in this area the last thing i want is a bent rim. do u think 20s are too small?

In that case the biggest I'd go with are 19" but to be safe 18".

Go with whatever you like. I'm just saying that larger rims will invariably have lower profile tires.

Stock 17" rims have 65 profile tires, 18" - 55 , 19" - 45, 20" - 40, 21" - 35.

BMW says that high performance tires and low profile rims are more susceptible to damage. By definition, high performance tires are tires with a speed rating higher than H and sidewalls that are less than 50% of the thread width. Given those facts you can deduce that the 19" tires + rims will already be running a risk of damage, as I said in post # 13, and to be safe an 18" wheel+tire is a safer bet.

if you get the tsw's get them with the stock stagger of the twenties it will make them look oem.

Hey Rasta, thanks very much for the kind words on my pic. I'm relatively new to the bords so I'm trying to help where I can. I was hanging out the window a bit with my girlfriend driving!

Naz good luck with the wheels!

Naz,

Did you get the new wheels already? Seems like you have different wheels on your Avatar now...
