Angel lights
 
Hi guys I have 2003 X5 3.0i looking to change headlights for Angel lights. Will they fit and work properly on the X5 i have. Any suggestions. also a good place where i can buy them

2003 you won't be able to bake-open your headlights :-( sorry,so if you want to put angel eyes inside,buy used 2000-2002 headlights and bake them and put angel eyes inside

Be sure to check the production date on the headlights. My X is an 03, but produced in 11/02 on the door placard. The headlights from it are from 7/02. You may be able to modify your lights to include the angel eyes and customize as you like. (do a search and you should find many threads with pics and write-ups)

Or if you want full aftermarket, try Custom Angel Eyes Ask richirich for details on those, he is one of many here that have those.

Just please stay away from umnitza! Do a search on them on this forum and you will find shady practices and horror stories!

Custom Angel Eyes seems to have discontinued selling headlights..

i have the same problem as you with the headlights. i dont know yet the production date of my headlights. but there is alot on ebay. but some look very cheep. there is a set made in germany and they are a bit more but look stock with the eyes in it. if i have to buy some that would be the set.

I bought mine from this guy BMW E53 X5 00-03 Black Angel-Eyes Xenon Head Lights on eBay, also, Other Car Parts, Accessories, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats (end time 09-Apr-09 00:06:51 BST) in Australia, had no problems fitting them and they look good”!
But if you look in eBay you will find that there are a one or two sellers selling the same product”! But like it was said above"! stay away from the very cheap looking ones in eBay"!

i think this is the same set. im working of the usa ebay. so i bet price would be diff. but here is the set im looking at getting. they look the same.

A seller called fishcake has the same type with xenon lights in them.

I think several here on the board has installed them.
