Hello... I'm looking into buying a 04,05 or2006 X5 4.8is can anyone give me a reliability/quality perspective i relly love this truck. I drive a 5series now.... Thanks

hate to be the one.. but do a search. it's no less reliable than your 5 series.. if your 5 series is not a 545 or better then this will give you more power..

Simply put - it's the best X5 ever made until the X5 M comes out. what are you looking to spend?

I don't know, I think the ole e39 540i/6 would give that 4.8 a run for its money ;)
