It was not a color offered on any E53 model year. For 2006 the closest would be Toledo Blue. It is possible that the previous owner either ordered the paint color specially like we've seen with some non-is models in Estoril Blue and Imola Red, or it's an aftermarket respray.

So the OP has an 06 X5. This chart: 2006 BMW X5 Colors Available confirms what Persona said and that is, that his colour is definately Toledo Blue unless he has a 4.8.

Still like to see a pic just in case it is a respray.
